Imagine that there is a certain template in the universe which describes beings who typically have two limbs for locomotion and two more for more universal application. Most of their sensory organs are located in a bulb at the top of their upright bodies in order to be close to their primary neural network. This network, or brain if you will, is also located in the bulb. There are unlimited varieties of this kind of being but they all bear some passing resemblance to Homo Sapiens.. Now try to imagine what goes on in their minds and how they establish order and meaning in their environments. Imagine doing this as a thought experiment and going a step further by realizing it as a series of painted images. Could this possibly be a way to explore the possibilities of our own species? Personally, I hope it is… because that is exactly what I have been doing for the last several years.
