Welcome to my website. I create paintings in series, with each body of work exploring a particular set of themes. It may take a couple of years or as little as a few weeks before I am ready to move on to a different constellation of ideas. Sometimes I may concentrate on figures from otherworldly realms, and at other times I may be focused on painting depictive landscapes. Each kind of work has its own flavour and generates it own feelings. Occasionally, I may follow a whim and produce a group of paintings that seem to bear no immediate relation to preceding work. Yet my preoccupations with the human form, landscape, science and history link all of my work together into a recognizable if varied oeuvre.
